Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Tall and skinny, about 6'4. He has noticeable abs, pecs, and biceps, but he's definitely not ripped.

2. How old is he?
He never really counted. He's about a century and a half, he believes. Or rather, he feels like he's been alive for that long.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He's rather self conscious about his height, and tends to slouch when he worries about it. When being addressed, he straightens up to show respect.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's relatively healthy. But he's considered deformed since he was born with an awkward mashup of his parent's appearances, and can't really do much about it.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Fluid and quick. Definitely not graceful, however, since he has hooves for legs. They make a lot of noise which he is self-conscious about.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Considering he has some of his father' looks, he's decent-looking. Not as much of an adonis as his father apparently was, but when it comes to attracting someone, looks are the least of his worries. Well...the looks of his face. He's still unconfident about the antennae sticking out of his head and his two pairs of arms.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He has slightly tanned skin, lightly covered in scars from history. The scars come from assault for when he was attacked or defended from for his inhuman appearance. It could also be for when he is fighting animals to hunt.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
His hair is short and dark grey. It's noticeably soft, as he cares a lot about his hygiene, and tends to use a lot of pricey products.

9. What color are his eyes?
Bright yellow.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Where do I begin?

From his mother's side, He has thick, centipede antennae sticking out of his head where horns should be. He also has a pair of arms under his original ones. He uses these extra limbs to his advantage.

From his father's side, he is born with black hooves for feet, and black fur covers his legs. Despite having hooves, his legs work like normal human legs, knees and all. He also has wings on his back. as a birth defect, they are small, and while Mikio can fly, he can only do it in short bursts as his wings lose energy quickly.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
His back and shoulder blades. As mentioned above, his wings use up a lot of energy when he flies.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Many of his pants are long and baggy, in an attempt to hide the hooves. His tops are simple. He doesn't really feel like fancy clothing is required for him. He'll usually wear button-up long sleeves, or t-shirts if it's hot out.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
He's a tall fellow, so it's really hard to find clothes his size. But he somehow manages. It's a lot easier to find clothes in the demon world, however.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He has done a few jobs in the demon world for money, but they're usually back/secretive work so he usually works in comfortable clothes. So yes, he dresses the same in his job and free time.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
He much prefers to go commando, and usually is. But when he isn't, he prefers fundoshi.


Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Low and husky. Though he talks more in his mind than he does out loud. When he speaks, his voice is calm and monotone, and usually doesn't have any emotion in it.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Despite appearing to be timid at first, Mikio is quite bold. Especially in speech. He doesn't understand the 'rules' and 'morals' of human behavior, therefore he can't tell if what he says is wrong or not. he'll often give someone a sexual compliment, or ask an embarrassing question. He'll be confused afterwards as to why people respond the way they do.

Tl;dr,  While he doesn't look it, he tends to speak fluidly and without hesitation.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
There's a slight japanese accent in his voice when he speaks English. He doesn't have any tic, but he does pretty much say certain sentences quite often. Usually either "eh, am I wrong?" or "Hmm? Did I say something wrong?" in response to how others react to any bold statements he unwarily makes.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He speaks Japanese and English fluently.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Only when he he's asked to, he'll switch from English to Japanese and vice versa. As for dialects, no.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He definitely doesn't think. when he does, it's when he's analyzing something.  But when it comes to words, he'll usually blurt out whatever he wants to say.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He is rather eloquent, as in he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. This changes when he's being confronted in a hostile manner.


Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
When it comes to being among his kind, he's calm and collected. He's not exceptionally street-smart, but if someone pointed that out, he normally wouldn't give a damn. he is an intelligent man. Not a genius, but he's no fool either. His intelligence is based on what he has learned out in the world, rather than was he was taught in school.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Both, depending on the situation.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Mikio is a HUGE analyzer, He spends most of his time studying his surroundings and the behavior of those around him. One would often believe he is spacing out, when in reality, he's over-thinking a certain quirk he had noticed somewhere. He's very intuitive and does things by chance, mentally studying the responses that follow.


4. What kind of education has the character had?
He never went to school, but due to this habit of analyzing, he has learned many things from his surroundings.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
His bedroom skills are praiseworthy. He knows how to pleasure any mate he finds. He also uses his extra arms in bed, as those are very useful. While he knows the tricks, getting someone to bed is a different story. He's rather logical and isn't very witty, and using words to seduce a person is his weak point.  He does wish to learn more about the art of seduction.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
While he shows the common characteristics of an introvert, he is most certainly an extrovert. He cannot stand to be alone.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Very even-tempered. He shows dramatic emotion only in the most drastic of situations. Despite having a history of being shunned, he tends to keep a cheerful outlook. Very laid-back.


8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He's very shy when meeting new people, especially in groups out in public, as the usual reaction to him is screaming and running in terror.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
A little bit of both, depending on the situation, but if we'd go with one answer, it would probably be react.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Flight. He can fight, but he'd much rather not cause conflict. He's afraid he might end up eating someone if he gets really into it.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
No one can tell if he's joking or not, for he keeps a poker face every time. He does appreciate a joke though, and if it's really funny he'll break out of his monotonous glance and burst into laughter.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
None he's aware of. Anything he does that's considered crazy or insane is out of instinct, not insanity. It is possible that his deformity could also affect his brain somehow, but so far that is a mystery.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
He's protective of those he grows dear to. As a child, he had learned of his father and how he never really loved his mother. Until he moved out on his own, he had been very protective of his mother.

At one point in his life he tried to rescue victims during a robbery in a small town he had passed. When the robber had pointed a gun at him as he was getting someone out, Mikio got so scared that he lunged forward and ripped the robber's arm off which he then proceeded to eat, as it was in his monstrous nature to do so. Instead of being thanked, he was treated as a vile being and he scattered away before anyone brought out the pesticide. It was moments like these that made Mikio timid, afraid to face conflict for he might possibly repeat that kind of attack again.

With his intimidating appearance, Mikio hasn't had much chance for socialization with people outside his insect brethren. Because of it, he hasn't learned any morals or proper speech. That is how he grew to be so fluid and bold when he speaks, unaware of how uncomfortable he makes someone feel.

14. What does he fear?
He fears being feared. He doesn't want to be viewed as a monster by humans, not does he want to be feared as some deformed weirdo to other demons.

He fears intimacy. While he enjoys sex, he doesn't want to form any strong, bonds, fearing that they'll leave him just like his father left his mother. There's also the fact that if he had a husband or wife, he'd have this irrational fear that they'll bite his head off after mating on their honeymoon.

Pesticide and holy crosses are material objects that will make him run with his tail between his legs.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He hopes to get over his fear of intimacy and have his own family one day, weather that would be impregnating a woman or adopting a child with a man.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
The one thing he doesn't want people knowing is something he can't really hide anyway, so no.


Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
He never knew his father. To this day he still has strong communications with his mother, whom he loves dearly.  His mother lives in the Aokigahara forest in Japan, and Mikio makes it a priority to visit her regularly.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
The only siblings he knows of are quite possibly dead. His father has been around, so Mikio might have step siblings he's unaware of.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
The only one he knows of is his mother.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
None.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Sadly, he does not have anyone he considers a friend. He'd love some, though.

6. Does he have other close friends?
Nada

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Actually, if anyone gets past his appearance, he is a friendly guy. He'll grow close with anyone quick once he finds out they don't find him unappealing.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Family

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single ;)

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
He did crush on a lot of people in his lifetime, but there's too many to count. Not recently, though.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Almost as if he has a sadistic side, he enjoys a little fear or uncertainty in his partners. He likes being relied on to lead the way. He likes his boys and girls on the cute side. Nothing too young-looking and weak, but he definitely enjoys a scrawny human being.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He doesn't, but he feels like he'll want to, one day.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Most likely. Not sure who, but he's definitely sure he has them.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
He doesn't really care much about gender, though he tends to go for boys more. Perhaps because he fears that he might impregnate a woman and be gobbled up afterwards, no matter if the woman is just a human or not.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
If it's not obvious from previous answers, he definitely loves sex. It's perhaps hereditary from his father. He even feel like it gives him nourishment.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
He feels like its due to the predatory nature as an Oomukade, that he enjoys seeing his partners squirm. It could be from fear or inexperience, or it could be from overwhelming pleasure, but either way if they're struggling to get free, it only turns Mikio on even more.


Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
He's a Pisces. I'm not sure how much he fits, but I know Pisces people have a desire to feel loved and avoid conflict (if I recall correctly). If so, then he fits it generally well.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He's a demon, therefore not very religious. He doesn't really care about his own sake, but he's interested in religion and how humans behave to it.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
He has the simple moral of avoiding conflict. He also believes that if you procreate with someone or form a strong relationship, you should be with them. Casual sex is fine, but if you make a commitment of any kind, you should stick to it. That's one of his morals.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Very curious. Very.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
What he has are fears more than prejudices.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Comfortable. He has a few small jobs here and there, but since he doesn't spend much, he doesn't fall into much debt.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
It "society outcast' a social status?

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He resides in an abandoned school building that hasn't been torn down yet. He lives in a secret room inside, which is somewhat clean and furnished. Though it's far from any shops or malls, so if he stays out late and is too tired to walk back home, he'll turn into a centipede and crash in someone's home.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
A lot of books and movies to watch and learn from.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He does whatever job he can find. He also does some jobs in the demon world, and gets much of his income there. His furniture and electricity come from from plans he bought over there.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
His interests are studying. Not books, per se, more like humans and their environment. He has learned ways to disguise himself. He's more active in the fall and winter, where he can hide his extra arms in jackets and his antennae under a hat or hood.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He's definitely a meat eater, and loves his steak on the rare side. Since he avoids eating humans, eating the flesh of other creatures are acceptable as a substitute. Sex is also an option, as he can feed off of sexual energy as well.

Though there will be times when he'll probably eat a human. If that ever happens, he tries to go for someone who won't be missed.
